For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for makeup, beauty and all things creative. When I was younger I would treat my Crayola crayon set like it was an eyeshadow palette and blend all of the different colours together, much in the same way that I now seamlessly blend my signature eyeshadow looks! I would sneak into my mum's makeup bag and put eyeliner on my lips and lipstick on my eyelids, much to her amusement!
From a young age I had been inspired to teach myself how to apply makeup like a professional, I would practice on myself, friends and family and in 2008 I finally decided to train in makeup artistry at the highly respected London School of Beauty and Makeup. Over the years I have bolstered this by learning the craft of makeup with various makeup maestros: Jawaad Ashraf, Saira Hussain (London), P Louise (Manchester), and Michelly Palma (Brazil). I am however certain that makeup artistry is a natural talent that some people excel at, and I firmly believe that I do.
I like to approach all of my projects in a highly professional and imaginative manor. I think that it is important to select the right products for the right client - depending on a number of factors, including age, race, and skin type, so I carry a wide range of the very best and highly rated products in my kit which I continue to evolve as I research and trial new products, the product brands I use include: Chanel, Estee Lauder, Tom Ford, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay, Mac Cosmetics, Illamasqua and Laura Mercier.
As an artist, I constantly want to be innovative and grow to develop my skillset, I have travelled extensively around the world and worked internationally, I feel that this has inspired me to acquire creative inspiration from across the globe. I have also studied photography, and thus have an understanding of how important it is to enhance natural beauty in order to look positively radiant behind the screens as well as in person.
